This presentation will provide an overview of textiles, including the basics of fabrics, fibers, fabrication, and fabric care. Explore the different types of animal-based, plant-based, and synthetic fibers, and the use of blends for creating fabrics. Learn about the historical importance as well as the modern uses of fabrics for clothing today. Please bring a pen and paper for taking notes.
